I declare June 20-27 the International Thank Your Developers Week. Most applications in Mandrake and other flavors of Linux include contact information programmed in from the authors of the applications. Clicking on Help and reading the About stuff, you can find email addresses for the programmers that worked hard to bring you your favorite programs. Please take a few minutes out of your day to email the developers and let them know that you appreciate their hard work. Let them know what features you like the best and why. Alot of developers just do what they do for the love of the community, so please, show them you care. :) I'll be emailing the teams behind Gaim, Thunderbird, Mplayer, and a handful of others. Once again, please email at least one developer letting them know you enjoy the fruits of their labors. Who will it be for you?
Thanks to Afrosheenix, for creating this observance in Usenet message

Let's all reach out to at least one team with a thank-you in the form of some positive feedback and/or a few dollars' worth of financial support for their efforts for the OS community.
